Having worked in various countries, VALDE nevertheless has a particular interest in preserving the Engadin —hardly a neglected corner of the world! VALDE managed to find a house that stood empty for 60 years, and brought it back to life. The transformation, done without the help of architects, has been chronicled in a forthcoming book.
